It's not too late to register for this! When you arrive for the Gathering of the Orders, you can still sign up! It's just $10 to register!

For those running, this is a small event with not much pressure to "perform"! For those who just want a nice walk, this is a GREAT opportunity for you just to enjoy an easy stroll around the Lake at Camp!

Come and enjoy a beautiful morning outdoors and help a great cause in the process!


JUST BY REGISTERING, if you are in the Virgin Healthmiles program, you will get 100 miles!! (these will be automaticaly added to your account once all the paperwork is processed)

and it's not too late to get the added incentive of a Cokesbury Gift Card!!
Here's how to get the Gift Card: At the time you register or when you go to the race get a sponsorship form. Take this back home to your church and recruit sponsors to help you support Mission2Gather. If you raise $100, you will get a Cokesbury gift card for $10 (and for every $50 over that, you get another $5 on the gift card!) You can collect the sponsorships and mail them in by November 21, 2011.

North Alabama UMC Ministers:

At the Gather of the Orders for the North Alabama Conference there will be a NEW opportunity!

Work off the Pot Lucks 5 K and Lake Walk!

This is an opportunity for great things to happen!

1) An incentive for clergy to work on getting more "in shape"! I hope that some of us will participate in some "challenges" and/or competitions with each other as we prepare for the event.

2) A way to raise money for some GREAT mission organizations in the Conference through Mission2Gather.

3) An opportunity to educate your congregation about these mission organizations, but ALSO to invite them to support you as you "prepare" physically for this event!

4) as an incentive to raise money, you will receive a cokesbury gift card, based on how you raise! If you raise $100, you will get a Cokesbury gift card for $10 (and for every $50 over that, you get another $5 on the gift card!)
